Contest deadline approaching, YA giveaways, and me in the NY Times

Right before I started writing this post, I discovered novelist Saundra Mitchell–who was a guest here at Suburban Vampire this past June–announced details for The Great YA Bake Sale of 2010, featuring numerous paranormal YA authors, book giveaways, and tasty recipes.  Definitely check out all the delicious treats and book goodies.

In other news, I’m part of a New York Times article featuring people who have 9/11 birthdays.  My quotes appear on the second page of Aimee Lee Ball’s “A Day to Dance or Weep?” She invited me to participate after reading a blog post I wrote on Suburban Vampire two years ago: My 9/11 birthday.
